Hi,
I am building a 5" gauge King designed by Keith Wilson. The drawings I bought from you back in the late 1970s. Unfortunately there are some dimensions missing that I hope you can assist me with.
1. The radius of the Expansion Link.
2. The position of the Conjugating Support Bracket as no holes are shown on the main frame drawing.
3. The position of the Valve Gear Suspension Bracket. Although holes are shown on the main frame drawing there are no corresponding holes on the component itself so the position of the centerline of the hanger relative to the axle center cannot be determined.
Your good advice would be most appreciated.

Further to my last email, I now have some information from another customer who is further 'down the track'.
He has made the expansion links, mounted the suspension bracket and made but not fitted the conjugating support.
Drawing 5, motion details, shows the valve lever to have Centre to Centre length of four and a quarter inches and he has interpreted this as the radius of the link.
That makes sense when studying the drawings.
The assembled views of the valve gear show the combination and valve levers fitted and the Con rod at Bottom Dead Centre, at which point the suspension bracket is shown as being five and three eights inches ahead of the axle CL.
As yet he has not tried to deduce the position of the conjugating support.
However, looking at drawing 5 again, presumeably the conjugating support bracket position will be found from 'the job' by positioning the inside cylinders to BDC or TDC and then finding the position at which point the outside cylinders rest at the opposite dead centre. Then as a double check the cylinder dead centres could be reversed to check that the 'middle' position has been found.
